A solid oak desk from the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1890 has a barrel or cylinder roll top. The renewed finish is excellent, enhancing the incised "spoon" or chip carving of the era.
A smooth gliding roll opens to small cubicles and drawers for documents, some with old ink stains. The pull out writing surface has a new saddle leather insert. Hardware is original on this American made antique furniture.
Measurements are 38" wide, 22" deep, 49" tall and the desktop is 29" high.
