Antique Swedish Country Pine Bench, Trundle Bed

An antique Swedish country bench has a large lower "drawer" that pulled out to form a cozy trundle bed for children.

Hand-made of wide planks of beautiful knotty pine secured with cut square nails, there are traditional Swedish scallops along the bottom edge.

This bench was made in the middle 1800's, and the golden finish is very good, with lots of patina and character including mars and wear from over 150 years of use.

Beauitiful antique furniture, this bench would work very well in a back or front hallway with a hideaway place boots or mittens.

Measurements are 5'11" long, 15" deep, 30" tall and the seat is 18" high.
