Hand hewn of solid pine and cherry about 1825, this primitive fireplace mantel is architectural salvage from Ohio. There are traces of paint on the well worn finish. Wooden pegs and square cut nails secure the joints, and there are losses and mars for lots of antique character.
Size is 76" wide, 7" deep and 50" tall, the fire opening is 50 1/2" wide and 38" high.
