This table lamp which was powered by gas is from the gaslight era about 1900 during the Arts and Crafts period.
The stained glass shade is undamaged on this American made light fixture. There is a brass "cock" or valve that would have been connected to a gas hose. This lamp is not safe to use by modern standards, there is no pilot light or safety shut off, and it has not been tested. There is no mantle or glass chimney.
Size of this historic cast iron lamp is 12" square and 21" tall.
