Genuine "birdseye" or curly grain maple furniture from about 1910, a pair of twin or single size beds were adapted to fit a standard modern king size mattress as shown in photos.
Original carved side rails were extended and there are wooden cross slats with a center leg for extra support for spring and mattress units. If desired, the king bed could be converted back to two single beds using steel side rails at moderate expense.
The finish is in excellent condition on this American crafted furniture with a few stains and mars for antique character, see photos. Gracefully curved panels, carved crests and feet are beautiful.
Measurements are 85" wide, 87" long, the headboard is 60" tall and the footboard is 36" tall.
Matching pieces in photos are priced and sold separately, call or email for availability.
