Bouret Sculpture of Girl & Cat, 1900
A sweet sculpture of a young girl feeding a somewhat unwilling cat with a spoon is signed by the artist "Bouret," and dates from the Art Nouveau period about 1900.
The original colored painting on spelter metal shows attractive wear, and the red marble base has a chipped corner. This lovely French antique work of art stands 11" tall.
