Brass late 1800's Antique Bed Warmer, Hickory Handle

A genuine "bedwarmer" from the later 1800's was filled with hot coals from a fireplace and moved around under the covers to warm a bed.

Solid brass, the inside is blackened from use, the handle is hickory. Measurements of this American made antique are 9" diameter, 3 1/2" tall and 43" long.
