Bronze 1860 Antique Apothecary Mortar & Pestle
A heavy weight cast bronze mortar and pestle was used to grind medicine in an apothecary or drug store about 1860.
Well worn, this antique has beautiful patina and would still be useful for preparing spices.
The pestle is 8" long, the mortar is 4 1/2" diameter and 4" tall.
