Graceful and richly carved, this 1950's dining set is matched elm burl with yew and maple. The satiny finish is in excellent condition. This superior quality American made vintage furniture is unsigned, the maker is unknown. Paw feet and shell motifs are beautiful.
The table has one 16" wide original leaf with matching skirt. Measurements are 44" wide, 30 1/2" tall, legroom is 26 1/2" and length when closed is 62," with the leaf in place, length is 80" overall.
Chairs have been reglued to serve another generation and are newly upholstered. Two arm chairs are 27" wide, 24" deep, 48" tall and seats are 19" high, four side chairs are 22" wide, 21" deep and 44" tall.
