Carved Antique Bookcase, Iron Grillwork
A palatial bookcase was carved of fruitwood about 1900, and has wrought iron grillwork over the glass sides and door.
The finish is excellent, and hand carved detail is exceptional on this antique furniture from Italy. There are original coppery and bronze highlights on the ironwork. As with most one door cabinets, the weight of the door and grill makes this bookcase tippy, it needs to be fixed to a wall for stability.
Measurements are 36" wide, 15" deep, 56" tall, and shelves are 9 1/2" deep.
