Carved French Oak Window Bench or Cabinet

Hand carved of oak with rustic heads and a coat of arms, this marvelous French piece looks to have come from a Renaissance castle. Actually, this is a magnificent replica made about 60 years ago in France.

The dark rich finish is excellent, side panels are raised and pegged, and this vintage furniture would look at home under a window, at the foot of a bed or behind a sofa. It would also be great for a wide screen TV.

Above the coat of arms, the iron lock is false. Workmanship is exceptional, and measurements are 5'6" long, 22" deep and 28" tall.
