Carved Griffin Antique 1895 Tea Table, Serving Tray
Remarkably three dimensional, four hand carved griffins with wings and horse hoof feet support this incredible tea table with a glass serving tray on top.
Expertly crafted of walnut about 1890 in northern Europe, the detail is truly amazing. In the center medallion, a heraldic winged lion holds a Latin book.
The finish is in very fine condition on the strong and tight frame. On the beveled glass of the lift off tray are some scratches.
This work of art is really a sculpture, size is 32" long, 21" wide and 30" tall.
