A solid cedar chest has natural resistance to moths, important when storing woolens. Original copper mounts are charming on this 1930's era antique.
The finish is fine with mars in the top, see photos. Signed inside, "Forest Park, Ill," and "Grant's Furniture of Racine, Wis.", this American chest was often used as a window bench or at the foot of a bed.
Size is 48" long, 21" deep and 18" tall.
