A country oak wall telephone dates from about 1910, and is signed "Chicago Telephone Supply of Elkhart, Ind.," on a brass plaque and on the generator.
The crank turns the generator and rings the bells, but there is no speaker in the earpiece, so this phone will not operate.
The quarter sawn oak case has its original worn finish with nice antique patina and just enough wear for a little character. There is a slanted shelf to write notes.
Size of this nostalgic antique is 13" wide overall, 13" deep and 20" tall.
