Chinese Camphor Antique 1900's 2 Door Cabinet or Chest

This solid wood cabinet or chest was hand crafted in China in the early 1900's.

The finish is excellent with a few mars, see photos. Glowing and shimmering aromatic camphor hardwood resists insects like American cedar chests.

Brass hardware is original on this antique furniture, doors and panels are raised. Hand planing, tenons and pegs show expert traditional craftsmanship, see photos. The interior has traces of the original lacquer finish.

Measurements are 30 1/2" wide, 20" deep and 31" tall.
