Classical Architectural Salvage Fireplace Surround & Mantel
An exceptional architectural salvage fireplace mantel is an original antique from about 1900. Classical details include fluted columns, swags, medallions and delicate dentil moldings.
Solid birch hardwood, the original walnut toned finish is very well preserved with minor touchups and just enough crazing and wear for character.
Preserved from a Chicago mansion, measurements are 72" wide, 17" deep and 60" tall, the fire opening is 47 1/2" wide and 42" tall.
