Country Store 1900 Antique Butcher Chopping Block or Kitchen Island

Made for a Wisconsin country store about 1900, a rugged solid hard maple butcher's chopping block makes a great kitchen island or wine tasting table.

Well worn and uneven from scraping, there is lots of antique character - dings, stains and shrinkage separations from age. Sides have a very fine finish with glowing warm patina, the top is oiled to be usable for chopping.

Size is 31" square and 29" tall.
