Empire Chest or Dresser, Wishbone Mirror
Hand made during the Empire period about 1840, a cherry chest or dresser has book matched flame grain mahogany and a lovely oval mirror in a wishbone frame.
The finish is excellent with warm antique patina. Hand cut square nails are visible on the backside. Drawers have hand cut dovetails and chamfered bottoms.
Clean lines and figured grain are beautiful on this elegant American antique furniture. Measurements are 40" wide, 19" deep and 69" tall.
