Empire Mahogany 1900 Antique Chifferobe Linen Chest or Dresser, Paw Feet
Crafted of mahogany with matched flame grain panels about 1900, an Empire design "chifferobe" is a linen chest or dresser with a fitted interior of wide drawers.
The renewed finish is in very fine condition, preserving a little crazing in the original finish, see photos. Shaped columns and carved lion paw feet are authentic. Drawers have expertly hand cut dovetail joints on this American made antique furniture. Pulls are solid brass, doors have a working lock.
Measurements are 51" wide, 27" deep and 51" tall.
