A Georgian period chest or dresser was exceptionally well crafted entirely by hand in England in the early 1800's. Solid mahogany, the renewed finish is in excellent condition, preserving just enough mars for a little antique character. The top and sides were cut from single wide planks of mahogany.
Around 100 years ago, the feet and moldings were rebuilt, brass pulls date from that time. Drawers have solid mahogany sides with hand cut dovetail joints and chamfered bottoms on this classic British furniture.
Dimensions are 38" wide, 22" deep and 35 1/2" tall.
