English Victorian Toleware 1860's Fireplace Coal Scuttle or Hod, Painted Glass

A top of the line Victorian fireplace coal hod or caddy is tole ware with original gold painting and a curved glass panel with reverse painting.

Original porcelain mounts include wheels and a knob, the rope twist handle has losses, see photos.

Made in England about 1860, this antique hearth accessory measures 13" wide, 18" deep and 21" tall.
