French Design Writing Desk, Leather and Hand Painting
Elegant furniture from about 40 years ago, this French style writing desk has gold tooled leather and hand painted Chinoiserie decoration in raised enamel. There are several dings to the shaded leather insert panels, see photos.
Fruitwood with a very fine finish, there is distressing to give an antique look. Cast brass pulls and mounts are original. Dovetailed drawers have solid oak sides on this American made vintage furniture.
Dimensions are 60" long, 30" deep and 30" tall, legroom is 24" underneath.
