French Provincial Needlepoint Hunt Scene Armchair
Hand carved of fruitwood about 1890, this traditional armchair has old hand made needlepoint upholstery with intricate pettipoint panels depicting a hunt scene.
The original finish is very fine on the strong and sturdy frame. Upholstery is old with charming wear and fading, springs are still firm and comfortable.
Classic French Provincial lines are elegant on this antique furniture from France. Measurements are 23" wide, 25" deep, 34" tall and the seat is 17" high.
