Dating from about 1910 and signed "C. Maillard," this scene of young women frolicking in a glade are playing a game like Blind Man's Bluff.
Soft and gentle colors are lovely in this tapestry printed on linen canvas. In the background are a forest and mountains. There are a few scuffs to the surface, see photos.
The embossed frame appears original to the sweet and gracious artwork. Size is 46" wide and 34" tall.
