Georgian 6 1/2' Square Vintage Sunburst Dining or Conference Table

A magnificent Georgian style square dining or conference table is about 50 years old and has a spectacular shimmering "sunburst" pattern top with ebony banding. The satiny finish is superb, enhancing the gorgeous mahogany grain.

Signed "Custom Made by Trosby of Sussex," England, this vintage furniture was created for a high end resort hotel. The substantial "birdcage" design base has reeded columns with heavy cast brass feet and wheels.

The 1 1/2" thick top has an iron superstructure underneath for commercial use, and is removable for easier transport.

This stately table seats up to 12 people, and measures 6' 6" square, 30" tall and legroom is 28" underneath.
