Globe Wernicke Mission Leaded Glass Mahogany Barrister Lawyer Stacking Bookcase

A stacking lawyer's or barrister's bookcase from about 1905 is signed "Mission by Globe Wernicke of Cincinnati, Ohio." Doors have original wavy glass leaded panes on this American made antique library furniture. The restored finish is in excellent condition on mahogany.

The base with a dovetailed drawer and top are also separate stacking modules. Original hardware and connecting straps are patinated. The upper section fits books up to 9 1/2" wide and 8 1/2" tall, lower sections up to 10" tall.

Overall size is 35" wide, 11" deep and 73" tall.
