Signed "Haines Brothers of New York since 1851," this ebony grand piano has a famous "Ampico" reproducing player mechanism. Built in 1925, this classic musical instrument has been rebuilt, restored and refinished abut 20 years ago, and in very fine working condition.
The action is smooth with warm tone. A selection of rolls is included, the original electric player mechanism works very well. There is subtle expression and pedal action on this Ampico mechanism much more expressive and sophisticated than a regular "player" piano.
There are small mars and wear on the ebony finish, see photos. Original ivories are polished and in excellent condition.
Dimensions are 5' long, 58" wide and 38" tall. The bench has storage under the seat and measures 36" long, 16" wide and 19" tall. Click for video
