Hekman Georgian Chippendale Writing Desk

Signed by famous maker, "Hekman of Michigan," this writing desk embodies elegant Georgian Chippendale design. Mahogany with carved ball-and-claw feet, the original finish is excellent on all sides with only minor mars.

There are three gold-tooled leather panels on the top. A ball-bearing suspension file drawer accepts either letter or legal size hanging folders.

Superior American vintage furniture from about 20 years ago, drawers are dovetailed and brasses are original.

Measurements of this classic vintage desk are 5' long, 30" deep, and 30" tall, the kneehole is 24" wide and 24" high.
