Henredon Villandry Country French Lingerie Chest
From Henredon furniture maker's "Villandry" collection, this charming fruitwood Country French lingerie chest has 7 drawers, one for each day of the week.
Called a "Semanier," this vintage piece is about 25 years old. Drawers are dovetailed, and there is a sliding jewel or coin tray in the top drawer.
The original finish is excellent, and was distressed to look like an 18th Century antique. Gracefully serpentine, the front has raised blocks and original filigree pulls.
Size is 34" wide, 20" deep and 57" tall.
