A simple and graceful country fireplace mantel was hand carved in Kentucky about 1850.
Hand planed, the warm patina is wonderful, and the finish is in excellent condition. This nostalgic antique measures 6' long, 9" deep, 51" tall, and the fire opening is 47 1/2" wide and 36" tall at the center, sloping down to 32" tall at the sides.
