Large 1900's Birch Chest or Dresser, Swivel Mirror

This classic dresser has simple yet elegant lines with four hand carved medallions that reflect the aesthetic movement of around 1900. The solid birch wood has beautiful grain and the finish is in excellent condition in a warm reddish brown color. The drawer sides are oak with hand dove tails, and the construction is exceptional throughout. The large beveled mirror has a few losses in the silver - see photos, but is original and could be resilvered if desired. The bronze filigree knobs are original, and this dresser dates from about 1900. It is exceptionally solid and sturdy and the drawers fit very well and work smoothly. This spacious chest is 5'1" wide, 24" deep, 6' tall, and the top of the base is 33" above the floor.
