Lion Head Griffin Carved Oak Rocker

A spectacular Victorian settee or loveseat has carved winged griffins with lion heads and lion paw feet. Expertly carved in America about 1900, the finish is in very fine condition.

Recently upholstered and tufted in faux leather, seats have supportive springs. This is very usable furniture, there is slight play in the frame, it could be reglued the next time it is reupholstered.

Size is 27" wide, 27" deep, 39" tall, the seat height is 17" from the floor. The casters can easily be removed if desired.
