Nautical Antique Bliss Taffrail Log & Fish Spinners
A group of three nautical antiques includes a "John Bliss NY Taffrail Log" and two brass fish spinners, one also signed "Bliss" and a larger one signed "T. W. Cherub, T. Walker & Son, Birmingham, England."
This device was dragged behind a ship to ascertain its water speed in knots. We do not know if the log works. Log length is 11," the small Bliss spinner is 9 1/2" long and the Walker spinner is 15" long plus the lead and brass mount. Shipping USPS within the US is $35
