Pair of Antique 1900 Empire or Biedermeier Chairs, Denmark, New Upholstery

A pair of Empire or Biedermeier design armchairs were hand crafted in Denmark about 1900, and have been newly upholstered.

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving just enough mars, dings and shrinkage separations from age for antique character. Solid mahogany is inlaid with satinwood and ebony in contrasting tones as shown. Frames are sturdy, reglued to serve another generation. Porcelain wheels are original on this antique European furniture. Seats are soft and comfortable.

Measurements are 24" wide, 26" deep, 41" tall and seats are 19" high and 19" deep.
