Pair of Gunn Mahogany 5 Section Stacking Lawyer Bookcases

Signed "Gunn of Grand Rapids, Mich.," this 1900 era pair of five stack lawyer's or barrister's bookcases are all original.

There are five sections that fit 10" tall and 9" deep books plus five 9" tall and 9" deep sections, so the two pairs will be different overall heights as shown. They can be reconfigured as desired.

The original finish on mahogany is very well preserved with some "crazing" or crackling from age, see photos. Original brass knobs have mother of pearl inserts, authentic glass is wavy.

Bases and tops are also separate on this American made antique furniture. Overall size is 34" wide, 15" deep and 69" or 71" tall.
