Rockwell Wabash Rival Oak 12 Drawer 1900 File
A well worn oak file cabinet from around 1900 is signed "Rockwell's Rival" on the front and "Wabash Rival Letter File" inside the 12 drawers.
Solid oak, the finish is worn, stained and has shrinkage separations. Inscriptions in the drawers date from 1900 and after.
Brass handles and label holders are original on this American made office furniture. Drawers pull out and hang at an angle to sort or find papers, interior dimensions are 11" wide, 12" deep and 3" high.
This historic patented file may have been used on the floor or on a counter. Overall size of this antique file is 31" wide, 17" deep and 30" tall.
