An Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period round dining table dating from about 1910 has six 12" wide leaves, all in bold quarter sawn oak.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made Craftsman furniture. There are minor mars and losses on the base plus a few shrinkage separations from age for a little antique character, see photos. Top and leaves are solid quarter sawn oak.
To open, the substantial pedestal "splits" into two separate pieces. The latch mechanism has a label, "Tyden Duostyle Lock Pat. 1907." Leaves fit and match well, they have skirts or aprons as shown.
Measurements are 54" diameter, 29 1/2" tall and legroom is 25 1/2" underneath, with all six leaves in place, length is 105" overall.
