A set of six solid quarter sawn oak dining chairs from the early 1900's shows Empire influence, and has new leather seats, signed "Smith Day Co, Indianapolis, Ind."
The original finish has been renewed with a fresh coat of varnish, preserving a few mars and shrinkage separations from age for antique character. Frames have been reglued to be strong for another generation on this American made furniture.
Size is 18" wide, 17 1/2" deep, 37" tall, seats are 19" high and 15" deep.
