Silver Mesh Antique Purse or Evening Bag

Hand-made in Italy about 1915, a lovely silver mesh purse or evening bag is in very fine condition.

The inside of the frame is engraved "800" meaning 80% pure silver, the continental European standard vs. "Sterling" is 92.5% pure silver.

There is wear to the frame, the latch secures nicely. Size of this antique is 7" wide and 7 1/2" tall.
