A set of "Mary Chilton" pattern sterling silver flatware by Towle includes most pieces with a "K" monogram and comprises six 7 piece place settings, 3 extra pieces plus 10 serving pieces for a total of 55 pieces. Service for 6 consisting of seven pieces, 9" dinner knife, 7 1/4" dinner fork, 6" salad fork, double 6" teaspoons, 5" coffee or demitasse spoon and 6" butter knife.
Additional pieces are 2 teaspoons and a butter knife. There are ten serving pieces as shown.
Salad forks do not have a monogram. Excluding hollow handle pieces, weight of the set is about 48 1/2 ounces. The set was purchased in the 1940's from Wood-Abbott Jewelers of Lowell, Mass. An wooden chest is included with this classic silverware.
