A traditional English "teapoy," or stand for holding various varieties of tea leaves, is genuine rosewood with inlaid brass "boulle" work, dating from around 1830.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving warps, shrinkage separations from age and losses at the edges for a little antique character, see photos. Interior compartments of this aristocratic furniture have original worn linings of foil to protect expensive tea leaves.
Measurements are 17" wide, 14" deep and 29" tall.
