Vernis Martin Painted Bombe Music Cabinet
A marvelous "Bombe" or convex music cabinet has its original "Vernis Martin" finish with hand painted scenes of musical instruments and angels.
The famous frosty bronze finish has small mars, wear and a few bumps for character - the antique patina is lovely. See photos
Bronze mounts are original as well, the background wood is mahogany with a very well preserved original finish.
French furniture from about 1900, interior shelves for sheet music are removable. The lock is operational.
