Victorian Oak Inkwell & Letter Box Desk Set
Hand made about 1895, a pair of cut glass inkwells are set in an oak letter box desk set with brass mounts.
Entirely original, the glossy finish is remarkably well preserved. There are a few mars and wear to the edges for antique character. Blown and cut crystal inkwells have hinged covers, one has a chip to the base, see photos.
Two brass decorative shields have never been engraved, but could still be given an inscription if desired. In the front of this exclusive desk accessory is a pen rest.
Wonderfully made in England, measurements are 13 1/2" wide, 11" deep and 9" tall.
