Victorian Pearl & Papier Mache Plaque
A Victorian period oval wall plaque is genuine papier mache with mother of pearl inlay, gold leaf decoration and hand painting. Handmade about 1850, this American antique was originally the top of a tea table.
There is crazing, wear and touchups, see photos. Measurements of this charming work of art are 28" x 24" and 1" deep.
