Viking Warrior Carved Oak 1915 Antique Scandinavian Desk & Bookcase

Hand carved panels depict three dimensional scenes of helmeted Viking warriors on this 1915 era desk from Scandinavia. One is playing a trumpet and one is fighting a serpent.

Fine grained oak has an excellent deep finish. The top has a sunburst pattern on this boldly scaled antique furniture. Behind locking doors that swing on brass piano hinges are tray drawers and shelves. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. Bun feet are original, there is a bookcase on the back side.

Dimensions are 5' long, 34" deep and 30" tall, the knee hole is 19" wide and almost 24" high.
