Walter von Nessen Midcentury Modern 1940 Vintage Floor Lamp
Signed by noted Midcentury Modern designer, "Walter von Nessen Studios" of NY, this floor lamp dates from about 1940.
The original brushed chrome finish is in very fine condition, the textured shade has very little wear and may be original. There are two standard sockets on this American made vintage light.
Von Nessen immigrated from Germany in 1925, and lived 1889-1943.
Shade diameter is 12 1/2" and height is 52" overall.
