Antique Amberg 45 Drawer Oak File Cabinet
A signed "Amberg's Imperial Letter File" has its latest patent date as 1896. Solid quarter sawn oak, there are 45 dovetailed drawers with oval label holders.
Inside each drawer is a spring clip to hold papers up to 10 12" x 12 1/2" and 3" deep. Three pull out work shelves are in the center.
The finish is very fine with chips and mars for a little character. This American antique furniture was the best of the Victorian age, and measures 46" wide, 14" deep and 76" tall.
