A portable machinist's tool chest from the 1920's makes an interesting jewelry or collector cabinet. Solid oak, the old finish is very well preserved with minor mars for character. There is no key for the lock, signed "Eagle of Connecticut."
Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its patina.
Solid oak, the nickel hardware is original. There is a raised panel on the drop front, inside is a leather insert. Ten drawers of various sizes have tin bottoms, they could be lined with felt if desired.
The leather handle is original on this American made antique, size is 21" wide, 10" deep and 16 1/2" tall.
