Hand crafted of mahogany about 1830, this dropleaf table would also serve as a dining, breakfast, writing table, or behind a sofa.
The top and drop leaves are all cut from single solid planks, on the back are old sawmill and hand planing marks.
Said to be from New England, this antique furniture shows Sheraton influence.
Size when closed is 42" x 17" and 29" tall, with both leaves raised, it is 42" x 38 1/2."
