This quarter-sawn oak lawyer's or barrister's bookcase has five stacking sections including a center drop-front desk, also separate base and top sections. Inside the desk are tiny drawers and cubicles with original brass hardware.
From about 1915 there are labels from famous maker, "Globe Wernicke of Cincinnati, Ohio and Strattford, Ontario.
As set up in the photos, the desk is 31" high. There are two sections that will accommodate books up to 10" tall, one section 12" tall and one section 8" tall, and all 9 1/4" deep.
Overall size is 34" wide, 12 1/2" deep and 74" tall.
